Automatic conversion of scheduled images and videos, and changes to retention periods
Images and videos are converted automatically for the destination
When you schedule a post, GrowX automatically converts or remakes the attached images and videos to meet the destination's requirements (file format, resolution, frame rate, audio, etc.) before scheduling it. Videos that could not be scheduled before because they did not meet the requirements (for example, a resolution or frame rate that was too high) can now be scheduled as they are.
- Remaking a video takes from a few seconds to a few minutes. The compose screen shows the progress in the meantime, and you can schedule once it is done.
- We never make conversions that change the content, such as the length or aspect ratio. If an image or video does not meet the requirements, we tell you why before you schedule.
Retention periods for images and videos used in posts have changed

| Of a failed post | 30 days (you can reschedule the post during that time) |
Images and videos of published posts used to be kept for 30 days. Because they remain on the destination, we now keep them for 1 day. GrowX is not a service for long-term storage of images and videos, so please keep your own copies of the ones you need.
